Mother Nurture
Post Natal relaxation, recovery and baby bonding class
About Mother Nurture Classes
Bond with your baby by joining the Mother Nurture post natal baby yoga and bonding class. It is also a great way to meet other mums, dads or carers and share experiences.
Baby Yoga classes provide a low impact workout for both Mum and Baby, including some gentle postnatal exercises for Mum.
Baby Yoga is also a wonderful activity to bond with your baby and have fun together as you are interacting closely with and communicating all the time through positive touch and singing songs and nursery rhymes!.
Baby Yoga helps you to attune to your baby’s needs and to calm or stimulate them as appropriate with a sense of security and wellbeing. It is beneficial for all babies, you don’t need to practice Yoga or even know anything about Yoga to get started with your baby. From birth babies respond positively to the stimulation of movement and touch together. Baby Yoga includes a wide range of different practices that can be combined to suit the needs of each baby or toddler through their individual development.
Each class offers a chance to refresh and renew with a relaxation at the end of the class.
"The experience of movement combined with touch is possibly the richest stimulation we can offer babies from birth" Francoise Barbira Freedman
